Lebanon MP: A summit of dwarfs

Lebanese Minister of Communications MP Marwan Hamadah said Syria's policy towards Lebanon has turned the Damascus gathering of Arab leaders into a summit of dwarfs instead of a summit of chiefs.
Many Arab leaders have decided to skip the summit in protest against Syria's policy towards Lebanon.
During an interview with Voice of Lebanon Hamadah said : Lebanon will not be represented at the summit, but Prime Minister Fouad Siniora will address the whole world to relay the message of Lebanon to the Arab summit in Damascus. The address will be timed to coincide with the convening of the summit.
"Siniora's speech will be broadcast to the whole world, not just to the summit," he added.
Hamadah said , Siniora is going to request a meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers or another Arab summit of the Arab leaders outside of Syria to discuss the Lebanese Syrian relations and how they should be corrected.
He said this summit / meeting we are proposing should not be held in Syria because President Bashar Assad cannot be an arbitrator when it comes to Lebanese - Syrian relations. It should be a meeting which is not chaired by any Syrian official "
