Khoja Warns of Grave Situation if Arab Initiative Collapsed
Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Abdul Aziz Khoja on Monday warned that if the Arab Initiative was not implemented divisions would persist, leading to a "grave" situation.
Khoja said Arab league Secretary General Amr Moussa would exert efforts to put the Arab initiative into effect "as soon as possible."
"If the initiative was not implemented, then divisions would persist. Any split in any country … is certainly grave at the security, economic and all levels," Khoja warned.
He concluded that "we hope the secretary general would come back soon to meet the various parties who should be more realistic and take their nation's interest into account."
